Toine Ramaker

Toine holds a MSc in environmental planning from Wageningen University (2000) and started his career as knowledge management consultant at KWR Watercycle Research Institute in The Netherlands, focusing on a match between long term developments in society/technology and an adequate research program for Dutch drinking water utilities. After some years Toine became project manager of TECHNEAU, funded in the 5th European Framework Program, at that time Europe’s largest integrated research project, including 30 international partners.

In 2007 he started working at drinking water utility Dunea as a manager of  the strategy and internal advisory departments including topics such as, research & innovation, asset management, customer strategies, program management, process optimization and investment planning.

From 2012 onwards Toine works for Vitens Evides International in Mozambique as resident project manager, being the local HRM manager (including activities in South Africa), consultant for FIPAG Headquarters and project manager for a EU funded capacity building project in Nampula/Angoche.
