Just like last year, Maputo is currently undergoing a serious drought and major water restrictions throughout the city. What if you would use treated wastewater instead of normal tap water to cool the future power plant in Maputo? That’s exactly what Laura tried to investigate and instead of the typical blog posts she opted for a short movie to tell you all about it. Here it is:

Participating on the 9th International Conference of the African Materials Research Society

My last scientific meeting of the year 2017 took place in Gaborone, Botswana, were I participated on the on the 9th International Conference of the African Materials Research Society (AMRS2017). Attending the International Conference on Urban Health

For this conference, organized by ISUH, Universidade de Coimbra and Elsevier, I presented my work on Material Flow Analysis of water and nitrogen in Maputo which is based on Iana’s MSc thesis.
